Your RADA, You're RADA
You know the value of RADA’s unique training to your life and career. Our principle of delivering a rigorous and intensive vocational training to the most talented students has not changed over the years and we are determined to uphold it.
We want you to be able to place your gift where your passion lies so we’ve divided the RADA Alumni Fund into three different areas. For each area, we will provide regular updates on how your donation has been spent and offer opportunities for you to come in and see the work. We are not asking you to give more than you can afford, but lots of small donations can quickly add up.
DIRECTOR’S PRIORITY FUND
This fund allows us to respond to emerging opportunities, special projects or other one offs – the introduction of a master class, the commissioning of a writer, a collaboration, tour or trip.
STUDENT FUND
This fund will directly support the students. It will enable us to provide bursaries for fees and maintenance, ensuring RADA never has to turn away a talented student because of their financial situation. It will also facilitate student placements and internships.
TEACHING EXCELLENCE FUND
RADA is renowned for its one-to-one and small group teaching, continually reviewed to ensure it remains at the forefront, delivered by a range of specialist teachers, guest directors and tutors. Gifts to this fund will help us to maintain our exceptional standards and to further develop our curriculum. It will also enable us to support the cost of productions, introduce new elements of teaching, such as screen training, and to maintain the specialist equipment and facilities we use on a daily basis.
Although we never spend more than 5% of our funds on fundraising initiatives, we have developed successful relationships with many corporate and private donors. But these donors are often drawn towards major capital projects and events rather
than the day to day training.
YOUR DONATION COULD ACHIEVE:
- £10 per month for a year would buy a theatrical mask
- £20 per month for a year would fund a term of flamenco lessons
- £50 per month for a year would buy voice lessons for one student for a term
- £80 per month for a year would fund the scenery for a GBS production
As well as supporting RADA financially you can also increase your involvement with the Academy through the activities of the RADA Global Network, our alumni relations programme.
